FAQ
Common questions.
The app costs nothing to download. You sign in with the same Bloomz account and plan you already have, so you can do most of what you do on the web.
No. Bloomz works in any browser at app.bloomz.net, and on iPhone and Android with the mobile apps. The desktop app is for people who prefer Bloomz in its own window.
Automatically. The app checks for a new version shortly after it starts and regularly after that, and downloads it in the background. When it is ready you will see a Restart button. Nothing is installed until you click it.
Choose your sign-in option in the app. Your normal browser opens so you can sign in the way you always do, and then you are brought back to the app.
No. The desktop app does not show notifications. Bloomz notifications still reach you through the channels you have set up, such as email and the mobile apps.
The installer sets up for your Windows user, so it needs no administrator rights in most cases. It also installs Microsoft Edge WebView2 if your computer does not have it yet, and that step can ask for permission on some machines.
It can appear the first time you install. Click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is code-signed, and the warning fades as the app builds a track record with Windows.
